I am Daniel Roberts. Search results can flatten a long working life into one chapter. I am not interested in pretending the difficult chapters did not happen. I want to put them alongside the work, decisions, projects, failures and lessons that make up the fuller record.

Before the setbacks

My professional background began in quantity surveying and developed through project consulting, postgraduate legal study, international work and property development.

The hard chapters are part of the record

My history includes commercial disputes, litigation and bankruptcy. Those outcomes had real consequences. I do not use this site to attack other people or to relitigate disputes in public.

What changed

Failure forced me to reassess risk, responsibility, the way I make commitments and the importance of building options before they are urgently needed.

What I do now

My current work focuses on international advisory, practical AI systems, project thinking and helping business owners make clearer decisions under pressure.
